3 weeks agoThe food is consistently excellent, the cocktails are some of the best in the city, and the wine list is genuinely unique. Not the usual suspects, always something worth discovering. Every visit feels like a little adventure without ever feeling pretentious.

8 months agoThe beef tartare delivers contrasting textures of buttery chunks of tender beef and crackly crisp sourdough baguette. The Basque cheesecake blew me away - decadently smooth, moist and creamy, it effortlessly melts in your mouth.

5 months agoThe only real downside? It is SO dark inside. Very on theme, but definitely a slow down, feel with your feet, and squint to find your friends situation.

7 months agoIf you are going to get a dish here, you need to try the gnocchi. It was delicious, probably my favourite item we ordered. The ambiance and service were really great. I think it's probably become my favourite wine bar.

7 months agoThe star of this restaurant is the food. The steak tartare was fresh and vibrant and the toasty bread was an excellent accompaniment. The grilled octopus was served on a crisp hash brown that was divine. The menu changes weekly - a small menu done well.

Thank you so much for the detailed rundown - we love hearing that the Tomato Bread Royale earned a second order! You make a fair point about the lighting; we lean into the moody atmosphere but we hear you that it can make navigating a challenge. We'll keep that in mind as we look at small ways to help. So glad you had a great night and we hope to see you and the crew back again soon!
